Is rectal ablution with holy water a good idea for the treatment of hemorrhoids?

July 292010

This seems like a decent compromise between my priest’s and my doctor’s recommendations.

Just remember to return the water to the font when you’re through with it.

I wouldn’t recommend it, the holy water I’ve seen usually has mold growing in it.

If you would just lose some weight, I bet the hemorrhoids wouldn’t be an issue.

holy water can also rinse all your sins and make you reborn, but the priest has to turn the tap water to holy water first

Holy water might work for an exorcism to get rid of the devil, but it won’t work on a hemorrhoid. For hemorrhoids you need ‘Preparation H’. Comes in a tube at the pharmacy, cheap,. Apply with your finger. 1st day – relief. 2nd day – no more hemorrhoid. However, ‘Preparation H’ will not work on the devil. He’s a different kind of hemorrhoid.
