How do i heal a thrombosed external haemorrhoid?

I have an external haemorrhoid and its flared up again. its been like this for a week. but how do i get it to stop hurting or make it go away!!! i went to the doctors and she gave me some cream, but it isn’t healing it and i used anusol but it isn’t really helping either. what else can i do and how else can i get rid of it?
You can have it cut off so it won’t keep flaring. It takes a few minutes, hardly hurts and problem solved. Ask your doc for a referral.
